Jamaican Birth Registration Forms

AUTHENTICATION AND LEGALISATION

For use IN JAMAICA (such as for passport applications etc.) the document does not need any further processing.

For use IN THE NETHERLANDS, the document will need to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Jamaica (see address below), after which it will need to be legalized at the Dutch Embassy for the region which is located in Havana, Cuba.

The Dutch Honorary Consulate in Kingston (see address below) can take care of dispatch to the Dutch Embassy in Cuba, by weekly diplomatic bag.

All documents at the Dutch Embassy, destined for The Netherlands are placed in the weekly diplomatic bag to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. This Ministry will send the document by mail to the address which you have indicated in The Netherlands.
